Ju-jitsu (traditional) in Norway

What an ordinary class looks like
Traditional ju-jitsu covers throws, joint locks, escapes and strikes in one syllabus, often drilled as agreed sequences before opening up. The emphasis is on self-defence and form rather than competition.
How it differs from BJJ
The names are nearly identical, the content is not. Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialises in ground fighting against full resistance; Japanese ju-jitsu covers a broader syllabus with less free sparring. Check which one the club actually trains before you join.
